On Friday 23 October our Chairman Joan Young presented Bob Alcock with a commendation from Ramblers in recognition of the 40 years he has spent volunteering for MVR.

Throughout that time Bob has been a regular walk leader, as well as a Footpath Secretary protecting our rights of way in Mole Valley. Andy Hoskins filmed the presentation at Brockham Green on that windy October day and showed it via Zoom after the AGM. If you missed it, you can now see the video

Louise Stilwell-stage asked Bob about his time with MVR and made some notes that we can now share with you here so we hope you will find them interesting.

Our sincere thanks go to Bob for his tireless efforts and we congratulate him for his considerable achievements as an MVR volunteer over the past 40 years.
