Mole Valley Ramblers

- friendly walking in the heart of Surrey

Mole Valley Ramblers is part of the Ramblers Association a national charity that seeks to help people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk.

There are so many benefits from walking and we are fortunate in Mole Valley to be surrounded by the most glorious countryside with a wealth of paths to explore. Research has shown that contributors to health and happiness include strong social ties, a sense of belonging, being absorbed in a physical activity, contact with the natural world, involvement with your local community and helping others.

You can see the many group led walks we have planned on the Walks Filter page and we hope to see you on any of these. Whatever the size of the group, which in Mole Valley Ramblers is generally between 5 and 20 people, you can be assured of a warm welcome. And remember you are free to come along and try us out before deciding whether to join the Ramblers.

As well as an extensive walks programme, Mole Valley Ramblers also offers its members a range of social events and group holidays, both of which are very popular. Members are also encouraged to become more actively involved with the group by leading walks, helping to organise events or working with our Footpaths team to help survey and maintain public rights of way.

As a Ramblers member you have free access to any of the walks on offer from its affiliated groups. So that within Surrey, which has 16 Ramblers groups (see Surrey Ramblers), you can be sure to find a walk to suit on virtually every day of the year.
