Centenary Remembrance Trail

As part of its month of remembrance for the First World War, the Woodland Trust has designed a self-guided, commemorative trail at Langley Vale Wood. Please see here for more details.

Parking at Newlands Corner

The Planning Inspectorate has recently given the go-ahead for parking machines to be installed at Newlands Corner. Charges are expected to be introduced "in late Spring or early Summer"; more information here.

Celebrating the Festival

40th Anniversary of the NDW

In 2018 the North Downs Way National Trail celebrates 40 years since its official opening on 30th September 1978 on Wye Downs. In celebration there will be a programme of walks along the trail, lead by local experts and coordinated by the NDW Trails Manager.
